For older children aged 8 and up finding something novel and different for their parties can be a challenge.  With my workshop parties ranging from Magic, Balloon Modelling and Circus Skills you are into something new, exciting, fun and different that engages the children.  I have performed all three different workshops for 8’s and up to great success.

The children really do love learning a new skill and also love the challenge of it.  So if you are looking for something the children haven’t done before then any of these three different workshops are a great option.

Magic Workshop:  1 Hour

My Magic Workshops last 1 Hour in length and the children will get to see some cool Close-Up Magic for 15 Minutes before we get into the main workshop which lasts for the remaining 45 Minutes.  During the workshop I will show and teach the children 4 – 6 different tricks that they get to keep at the end of the party in a special Magic Kit bag that even does a trick!  The party size is limited to no more than 15 Children and is perfect for being held in your front room!  The price of the workshop includes a free Magic Kit bag for the Birthday Child  with a Magic Hands of Mystery DVD too.  All of the other Magic Kits are on a sale and return basis.  Meaning you only pay for the kits based on the number of children who attend the party on the day.  Limiting the numbers of children also helps to keep the party costs down.  But the big winner here is that the children get to keep all the props used for the tricks and take home a really cool bag of tricks!  This saves you having to worry about party bags too.  Use my enquiry page to find out more information and to get a quote for your next event.

Balloon Modelling Workshop: 1 Hour

For my Balloon Modelling Workshop I start by showing the children some of cool balloons I am going to help them make during the workshop.  This last 15 Minutes and then we jump straight onto the learning and making of the cool balloons.  Children can learn how to make a Butterfly Balloon, a Hat and a Dog.  As long as time allows and the children are up for it I will keep helping make loads of balloons.  At the end of the workshop the children all get to take home what they made.  This workshop is really hands on and particularly suited to budding artists and creative children.  A real winner with the girls!  The Butterfly Balloon really does impress the children and adults.  The Birthday Child will receive all of the cool Balloons I made at the start of the workshop to keep as well!  I suggest limiting the number to 15 for this workshop too as I can then help all the children to create as many balloons as possible in the workshop to take home after the party has finished.  The Balloon Modelling WOrkshop is also well suited for a front room.  For more information please contact me using my enquiry page to get a quote for your next event.

Circus Skills Workshop: 1 Hour

For budding clowns and very active-sporty children my Circus Skills Workshop is a real winner.  It last an Hour and starts with a 15 Minute Show demonstrating all the different types of Juggling and Circus Skills the Children will get a chance to try and master!  Then it moves onto the hands on workshop for the remaining 45 Minutes.  The Children will get a chance to try and master Juggling, Plate Spinning, and even Ring Juggling.  The Birthday  Child will receive their choice of a Juggling Bag Set, Juggling Ring Set or a Plate Spinning Set.  Instead of party bags for the other Children why not give them a Spinning Plate Set to take home.  Again these are done on a sale and return basis, so you only pay for the ones needed on the day of the party.  For this workshop like the other two numbers are best limited to 15 so that every child can get individual instruction to help them try and master the various Circus Skills.  I also suggest a hall or very large open space for the Circus Skills Workshop as we will have a few flying objects!  Just in case…I do have Public Liability Insurance and thankfully have never had to use it!
